Being the art director of Tap Motif, Thanos Daskalopoulos choreographs and teaches tap in his studio in Athens, Greece.

He is the solo rhythm tap dancer in an art project built around funk music, called "Funkollectiv". While jamming in Athens’ jazz venues, Thanos has developed several collaborations including performances with the swing band "The Jitterbugs", theatre productions and street performances.

By producing “TapMotif - The beach tap festival” he is looking forward to making Greece a new meeting point for all international tap dancers. A meeting point where people can learn history, get inspired from masters, jam all day and develop their personal expression through their feet.
