Spyros Manesis was born in Athens on 1978.
In the 80’s he lived in Zakynthos island. He took the first piano lessons in Kalvio music school in the age of 7. He studied in the Musicology Department of the University of Athens. In the same time he studied in Athenaeum Conservatory in Athens with teachers George Kontrafouris and Sylvios Syrros and classical piano under the directions of Marianna Aivazova, also in Athenaeum Conservatory.
He has participated in various jazz, latin and funk bands in Athens. On 2003 he worked as piano player in the stage of “Medea” of Euripides, a production of the National Theater of Greece and gave many concerts with the group TRIOISM with collaborators the double bassist Petros Klampanis and the drummer Zak Samouil.
He has taught theoretics and piano in Athenaeum Conservatory. Now he continues his studies in Conservatorium van Amsterdam with teachers Karel Boehlee, Hans Vroomans and Kriss Goessens.
